2010 Summer Event - Sunday 20th June

The Old Michaelian Day will take place on Sunday 20th June. This is a great event - a chance to catch up with friends and enjoy the fantastic School surroundings. Liam Timms will be leading the Chairman’s XI, so if you are handy with a bat or ball – or both! – and you want to give the Headmaster and his team some stick, join us for a good humoured game of cricket against The Headmaster’s XI. Everyone in the team will have the chance to bat and bowl. Liam will be taking names, so if you would like to play email us at oldmichaelians@waitrose.com. I would just ask you to bring cricket whites!

Verity Hall is also taking names for the Rounders Match which is always a lot of fun. Do get in contact and drag some friends along to scream from the sidelines. Email her through the website at oldmichaelians@waitrose.com.

This year we’re encouraging all those who would like to spend some time watching the matches to bring a picnic. There will be BBQ equipment on hand for those who prefer something burnt but remember to bring some sausages with you! Then once watered and fed, relax and watch the cricket and rounder’s with your family and friends.

I hope you can make it on Sunday 20th June to either take part in the activities or just to meet with friends, soak up the summer atmosphere and to enjoy a picnic with friends and family.
